Can someone explain the ending to me? I don't get anything please

Tbh I didn't expect it to end like this.
So basically Dennis is the fallen lamb/victim here. There's kinda a lot of symbolism in the story . Lambs/sheep are always connected with something pure and innocent. And we can see at the beginning of the story Dennis was like that too. Also early on, farm owner told Dennis to trust nothing but the sheep, which implies he already knows something is taking both sheep and shepards(men).
Todd lures Dennis with love, because he wants sheep, but he also wants Dennis' soul. By falling in love with Todd, Dennis is giving in to temptation and losing his pureness and placing his trust at the very thing farm owner told him not to. At the end Todd devoured all the sheep and disappeared. Dennis is left with nothing, no love, no sheep, there's nothing to live for. He throws himself from the cliff, just like he threw that innocent sheep few chapters ago. Todd's mission is accomplished, he took all the innocence from the Dennis who once was pure and naive as much as the sheep he took care of.
Saw someone comparing it to a Bible reference about sheep and pureness, also Todd can be seen as a demon who corrupt innocent ones and than take everything from them, both metaphorically and physically.
