IKR I was so confused after reading comments about them cheating on each other. Tbh I didn't think ethan cheated either , he asked for blood for someone else but that was for Tristan only .

i think it’s bc she didn’t get into the nitty gritty details. if she did the book would prob be a LONG series if she did. and i think it’s this manhwa where she did it for funsies when she was younger. (i could be confusing that part for a different manhwa LOL)
She wrote the novel when she was only 14, didn't finish it and it has been established that "writing" is like a prophecy, meaning she thought of a world and story that already existed and it wasn't her own idea

Yes, the scanlators might have mostly machine translated the words and just roughly edited it without checking the gender specific pronouns since Korean doesn't use gender specific pronouns on a general level.
