I totally agree with you and I don’t know what’s the hype with rape in yaoi, like how can seme ALL be forgiven for this shit because theu they were angry about some misunderstanding situations ?
I guess if it were a shojo and the girl were to be raped, editors wouldn’t be so okay with this like they seem to be in yaoi.

Go read "Love is an illusion". Or something else. I've read plenty of yaois here without rape. yeah it's pretty common I admit it, but it's the same with porno, you find that subject too because it's part of the fantasies of people. And we are not there to judge it. No matter how disgusting or morally questioning it is. I suggest you read the tags carefully, and the comments before starting a yaoi, it might help you find something you're more okay with.

And I'm not saying ALL yaoi are like that, but there's just too many and personally I think it's fucked up. Because I've read Dear Door (it's been a long time since I catched up but i don't really remember about forcing? I may be wrong), Red Candy, Red Area and those (from my perspective) are good stories without any bottom being raped. I'm sorry it just makes me so uncomfortable, i don't want to make anyone feel bad if they like these stories and I'm not shaming anyone, I just wanted to give my opinion, but i don't think the author is ever going to read it.

You know what, I'm totally okay with people being uncomfortable with it. And totally okay with people saying it. I know you don't wanna make people uncomfortable by saying it, and well nothing in this world ever goes the way we want to, so other people reading that might feel ashamed. I love yaoi, I'm literally addicted to it since my first reading from 8 years ago. And I'm not shaming anyone,I swear I wasn't even thinking about that, I just feel really disappointed when there isn't consent, I'm way too much romantic and sentimental. Like I've read "Hogu Hagyeongsu" ignoring the mature audience warning and I think I've cried at least 10 times because it was so far away from what I seek in a relationship that I can't help but feel sad and "angry" as if it were me.
