I love both Shutline and Flashlight but I can't believe the author of SL is accusing the author of FL of plagerism?? Like is the plagerism in the room with us? They're two completely different stories and the only similarities might be just the vibes of both dark-haired bottoms?
Shingun & Yujin are literally the only similarities and even that isn’t unusual. Aaron & Jake could not be more opposite if they tried and the entire plots are different. Authors need to stop throwing hissy fits whenever they feel threatened by someone else’s success.

For most instances, I feel like that’s the only way these red flag/ toxic BLs ever truly work, tbh. When the seme is established as a demon from the start (no pretending to be a good guy, no being written as a normal character and then suddenly a r*pist out of no where) just 100% beelzebub from the start, and uke is well aware but chooses to stick around and indulge in the devilish shenanigans anyway. Resulting in it being more of a sadist/masochist situation. Matched freak. Also allows the audience to know up front that this is going to be a twisted relationship without the author tricking and surprising the readers halfway in.
