After rereading this I just want to give a hug for Leah for going through all the constant abuse. I hope Ishikan will take her away where she can be loved. I love their dynamic where she thinks she is hard to love but he loves her like it’s breathing. They both deserve more. Can’t wait for season 2 to see more of them. I literally cried for Lwah because of her unbearable suffering.
The communication level is so healthy, they had no room for any misunderstandings. And the fact they understood each other in a deeper level. They have a relationship that no one can interfere. I vow to have a relationship like them. This manga is just pure joy all throughout

Okay so the Cakeverse is basically like Omegaverse but without the pheromones, etc.
Cakes are people who taste sweet (or duh like cake) but only a Fork can taste this flavor. Their flavor can be tasted in their flesh and fluids and each cake has their own unique flavor.
Forks are people that can taste the Cakes by consuming their flesh and fluids. Over time they lose their sense of taste for anything other than Cakes. And after finding a Cake they will be consumed with the desire to eat a Cake.
So basically,
Cakes = sweet-tasting people that only Forks can taste (by their flesh and fluids)
Forks = people that can taste Cakes (by their flesh and fluids)
Oh and also some Cakes are able to live their lives not knowing they are Cakes so yeah ¯_(ツ)_/¯
From what I know, Cakeverse is where 'forks' are basically people who lost their sense of taste (from young i guess) and 'cakes' are people who evoke a sense of sweet taste to forks though cakes don't know they are cakes unless they have been found by forks but that would be too late cause they would be eaten whole after. Cakes are like normal people but they are like water to parched forks. Every body part of cakes are irrestible to forks. Anything taste sweet to forks, from the cake's sweat, skin, meat, saliva, and everything. From a different point of view, cakeverse is a romanticized cannibalism. Forks can't resist legit eating a cake so they are considered criminals.
