possessive topi loveeee isekai bl and this one is done pretty well. i do believe that the rating for characters + plot will change because the story gives itself lot's of leeway (what happens to the original characters?). MC seems "dumb in love" atm but it's quite endearing because all throughout, he's dealing with his own struggles as an "outsider" and constantly questions his relationship.

despite my ratings above, as a manhua on its own i would give this a 10. it's meant to be a calm, fluffy story, and it's just that yet not boring. it's comedic and sweet and the couple is EVERYTHING. plus the baby's adorable. think of this as a palate cleanser to all the other angst in this story, but seriously it's a great read that warms your heart while not being basic.

deals with the fact he's replaced another person's body in a way i've never seen before. you really do end up feeling for the MC, his struggles, his hopes, and his change feels earned and present in the way he interacts with others and himself. this is shounen ai, but it didn't make it to my yaoi list simply because the romance is messy. but i still think it's more than deserving of a spot here because the MC is distinct, dynamic and relatable(but strong!).

MC is a morally ambiguous character and an example of an unreliable narrator done right. ML is by definition a good person (not rlly my fave...) but he's complex not in his cliche backstory, but how he interacts with others (i especially liked how truly comforted the mc, in a way that you don't often see in yaoi). not to mention the plot is interesting, and the story fleshes world-building well. a great read!!

the MC is a joy and so is the ML, but apart from that, the plot is INSANE. reminds me a lot of inso's law (great manhua btw!). it's the type of story which presents itself as shallow in its characters but you really do end up feeling for the cast. mc just wants so, so badly to be with the ml. i cried when he was in the rain and confessed. a very, very interesting story done exceptionally well considering how few BL isekai exist.
