I knew how this was bout to end even when I wanted him to be with Taku and then no one I knew he’d actually end up picking Joowon

i actually forced myself halfway through the story to sympathize with joowon because i knew they were going to end up together. and honestly? i’m not mad. although i don’t get why the whole step brother relationship had to be a thing? the author could’ve just made them be childhood friends or something

huh? but if they werent step siblings it wouldnt make much sense why they couldnt admit their feelings for each other for a whole decade. like what's holding them back otherwise?
despite the step brother thing, many readers can still sympathize with them cause a) they met as highschoolers,, and b) their parents were together for merely 2 years. Like I have siblings, and haesoo/joowon are in no way comparable to any sibling r/s lol. They weren't raised together, they never saw each other as brothers, they arent blood related, and nothing on paper ties them together legally either. So there's no ACTUAL reason they shouldnt be tgt. It's just the fact that their parents are unsupportive and the societal stigma of being former stepsiblings (which imo is pointless considering all the context i stated above about their r/s) might ruin Joowon's career.
about to end a few careers for making my baby cry
