Sugisaki is so cool, definitely girl crush material for me.
Moving that aside, ME AND WHO???? I WANT LOVE LIKE THIS TOO!!
Also, Himari and (I forgot the guys name) ibuki's friend, they have couple potential.
Can't wait for more to come out.
The development is sooooo slow but I'm still gonna be here. Also, BRING BACK THE MANAGER!!! THAT MAN LOOKED SO GOOD AS GIRL!!! I want more of him.
I have this read the manga when it had chapters 1-18 a billion times over and over again, and have loved it every single time. Now that I'm seeing it ending (I'm assuming it's ended, I didn't see THE END anywhere, unless I missed it, it's currently 5:21AM at the time I'm writing this), ITS MAKING ME SAD, I DONT WANT IT TO END!! I WANT MORE!!! SUDDENLY HITTING ME WITH AN UPDATE OF 18 CHAPTERS WTF???? I'm so glad my ship sailed, larissa x cochise/kosis all the mf way!!! BEST LATE CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER!!!!
I can't take it anymore, this shit is all so dumb, like why is the fl so unaware. She transcends the word dense, then you find out a couple chapters in who the ml is gonna be. ITS THE MF CROWN PRINCE WHO MURDERED YOUR FAMILY. No matter the reason, it doesn't change the fact that he murdered your family and bullied your brother. Yet, WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU BLUSHING AND FALLING FOR HIM??????? YOU HAD YOUR FIANCE AND KYLE BUT YOU CHOSE THE FUCKING PRINCE???????????? THAT DOESNT MAKE ANY FUCKING SENSE.
Therefore, I'm dropping this shit. Maybe I'll come back to it one day when its finished, I wanna know how angry I'll be with the plot.
The duke needs to divorce her right now, she only ever sides with the bitch and never with her daughter, like wtf??? Not once did she ever try to have a proper talk with serena. The future is looking dire, the duke is gonna get fed up of the duchess's actions, I mean I have never met anyone this fucking dumb in my life, for someone of high power she doesn't seem aware of her position at all. Like, hello, your biological child is stating clear facts with reasoning whilst your adopted child is just fake crying and you couldn't tell who was telling the truth at all. The bitch is acting up like that because you're too soft on her and then you wonder where did I go wrong when some shit happens with her. If you like the bitch that much then leave with her, divorce the duke and leave with her, you like her more than your daughter anyways.
Sorry for the long rant, I'm just majorly pissed off by the mother.
The moment that "father" said that he was trying not repeat the same mistake, I knew right away he was bullshitting. If he really wasn't trying to repeat the same mistake he would have tried to check up on his daughter. Also, he's only reacting like that to news about children of similar age to her because he doesn't want to deal with police to keep up an image of a perfect family. All that was absolutely fucking bullshit, even the wife he's with now is struggling yet not saying anything probably because of the child.
First of all, I have never touched a game of Go or even seen a game of it. It was fun getting to learn about the game through this manga. It was very enjoyable overall.
Now, the problems I have, are the way Sai passed on and the ending. Personally, after Sai was gone the story felt incomplete, there was just something in the way he disappeared that didn't feel right. The ending...really disappointed with it really, that last part/arc(?) felt really rushed, like he suddenly hears of a guy who "disrespected" shuusaku and suddenly makes it his goal to defeat him and loses in the end. It was just written poorly, like I like where it was going but then somewhere somehow, the plot just ended up taking a different turn, probably since Sai's disappearance.
I actually like this, the mc is not perverted and doesn't have a harem of girls. The slimes are cute and have their own personalities which is nice to see, from the ones I've read (can't really remember the titles all too well) slimes usually don't talk or have personalities so this was nice.
I also like that the mc is not your typically hero where they "stand out", not sure how to put it into words, like he does his job as a hero but he always tries to keep his power hidden as much as possible, doesn't want wealth or recognition.
Finally, an mc who is older but turned younger, NOT sexualizing or getting into a romantic relationship with someone decades younger. If there anymore interesting manga or manhwa out there like this please tell me. I really like plots like this and everytime I read them it always has the guy who's mentally way older ending up with a way younger girl. It disgusts me, but sometimes the plot was good enough to keep reading and ignore that part.
The first chapter got me hooked, I was reading then suddenly I look over and I'm at like chapter 50, like wtf??? Started read at 2am and caught up to the recent chapter (chapter 80) it was such a fun read. For something so science based I have never been this engaged before. I learned a lot from this manga.
You can also tell the author knows their stuff, even the way the animals were drawn were so detailed, the art overall was AMAZING. Seriously a 10/10 manga for me.
I dont know about this one...if it was a male idol stalking a female fan would it receive the same response? I see that some people really like this, like, I dont hate it but just thinking about it from that perspective makes me a little reluctant to fully like this.
was not expecting for Kalego and Opera to give off such married couple vibes wtf?????
This the first I've read something like this, it's so rare to find a gay couple that have spent their entire lives together and on top of that they have a 10 year age gap - in a BL. You usuallly see a young couple either in highschool or college/university or workplace but never any couple in their 50s, 60s or 70s. I cried a little when I saw the ending, but the fact that they were genuinely so happy together gave me a little happiness too.
This story made me want to have a love like theirs too.
I loved everything about this, there wasn't a single thing I disliked which is super rare of me to say. A reason why I liked it so much is that, they didn't really put a label on their sexuality as in like the word gay didn't even come up (unless I missed it since I read it at 3am), they treated the situation very casually like it wasn't something out of the ordinary, though Aoki did worry about it in the beginning.
The more I read, the more I fell in love with the characters. First of all, Hashimoto Mio, she is an absolute ANGEL. She was so supportive through out the whole manga, not only that she was also very understanding of people concerns - seriously, where can I get a friend like her.
Next, Aida Hayato, this man pissed me off at times but I do get where he was coming from at times and as to why he may feel that way or why he might say or do things. For example, on Valentines day when a girl tried to give him a homemade valentines gift he rejected saying he didn't like homemade things and Mio overheard that. Later, he told her that he only wants to receive a gift from her. In my head I was like, bro are you serious???? Like, you already knew she was gonna give you a gift, you could have told her you were waiting for it. Just because he was like this doesn't mean I hated him or anything, on the other hand it made that characters more realistic which is what I loved about this manga.
Then we have, Ida Kousuke, this man also pissed me off that times with the way he was so dense but that also a good point of his. The reason why it's a good point is because he's so straightforward and I love that, he also tried to learn and explore more about his relationship with Aoki. I liked that he gave Aoki space when he needed to and would rather talk face to face with him when they would fight than through texts or calls. The communication between them was great, there were times when it wasn't but that's normal and realistic.
Lastly, Aoki Souta, his character was a wild ride. What I mean by that is that, he's mature at times and really immature at other times. His mood changes like a roller coaster with several loops. But I found that aspect of him really nice to see, you could say he had a certain charm. I mean, he always tries to see the best in people. He's similar to Mio in the way that he supports others. There were times where I was like, 'I get that feeling, I totally get you'. Especially with the part where he admits to himself that he has a crush on Ida.
Honourable mentions:
- Okuda(?), I think was his name, Aoki's tutor in cram school. The moment he tried to avoid Aoki after learning he's dating someone of the same gender really ticked me off, like I get it, your not used to seeing couples like that but don't think Aoki will like just any man. He did have his little character development arc after talking with Aoki.
- the girl from that mixer that was talking to Ida, I forgot her name, THANK YOU FOR MAKING HIM REALISE HIS FEELINGS FOR AOKI.
- Saionji, I think that's how you spell it, honestly I think it would have been fun to have a rival but I'm also glad it turned out the way it did.
- Ida and Aoki's mums, would love to see them interact more. I like that they were both super supportive of their sons.
I'm really glad I got to read this manga. I would recommend this manga to anyone, whether or not they like BL in general. I think this makes quite the shoujo manga, I think even those who aren't used to reading BL would digest all of this easily.
I get that the mother was trying to be understanding about her son being gay, so, HOW TF DOES IT TRANSLATE TO DRESSING LIKE A GIRL?????????? WITHOUT EVEN ASKING HIM IF HE WANTED TO DO THAT!!!! Anyways, I liked that story overall.
I saw some of the comments before reading it, there were a lot of people angry at the fact that they didn't do a DNA test. However, after reading it I sort of understand why she asked for that in her will. I feel like she realised that (sorry, I'm bad at remembering names), light haired guy like dark haired guy hence why she asked for both of them in her will instead of just one. In my opinion the dark haired guy is probably the dad, there personalities are practically the same, but then again nature vs nurture, so it could just be because of how meguru grew up.
Also, ririko (correct me if I'm wrong) knew that the black haired guy was going to be a bad father. She might have been like, 'why not kill two birds with one stone', if light haired guy liked dark haired guy they might be able to build a relationship whilst taking care of meguru. That way, all three wouldn't be lonely.
I was so surprised when I saw him like that. Also, I really appreciate him for looking out for Iruma still, despite knowing he's human. Though, ISTMFG!!! IF KALEGO EVER BETRAYS IRUMA, I WILL LOSE MY SHIT
Usually the romance manhwas I've was always a story about either the ml or fl confessing to each other, or they have to face off against a big obstacle for their love to fully bloom. There are also ones where the villainess turns out to actually be the good person.
However, this story is so simple and wholesome. They meet 3 times and there wasn't anything like, the ml saying "she doesn't treat me like the other girls". They like the same hobby and seemed to fall in love with each other naturally, though they never confessed their love for each other (yet).
Most of the people I see here ships iana and yomi together or iana and sol together, but, for me, eventhough it's a fake "engagement", I prefer Yatori and iana together.
Somehow, before the appearance of the female lead, I became the male lead’s temporary wife. Si...
