Ok so she was abused by her father and made her depressed thinking she was a "cursed" person and as a mother she thought that if she touches her son he would also be "cursed" and many unfortunate events will happen leading in MC avoiding her child in hopes of not spreading her "curse".
Im not saying that her avoiding her child is okay but lets atleast try to understand that MC was in her lows in the past life and was trying her best to do what she thought was right as a "cursed" person which was to not expose him to herself.
When she refused to hold her son the ML naturally thought that she hated El and took him away to care for him. Although we hate the ML for that but I think it was the right choice at the time since if he thought that Mc hated El then he probably believes that El's life would be in danger from lack of supervision or possibly abuse.

This ML didn't do things because he thought the opposite would be considered abuse like the ML in IaSbmDiJtC did. The FL DID think touching her son as a cursed person is abusive.
This ML ignored her even though he was the one who told her that she shouldn't pay attention to the criticisms surrounding her. The criticisms that didn't stop just because she ignored them and just because she moved to his residence. Things he SHOULD have been aware of. So he should have realized his first comments were completely useless and unhelpful. Which would also not only render a strategy of ignoring someone to 'protect' them utterly deserving of ridicule but also point to how that strategy to 'protect' her is the largest contribution to the reason why she refused to hold her son.

just saw this so im v late but i understand why the ml took elle away but the act of letting his ex fiancé take care of Elle was the thing that really bothered me!
In the context the ml had some concept the mc wasn’t emotionally or mentally capable of truly taking care and loving herself (and she couldn’t really take care of her child bc of it) he should’ve been able to recognize the actual action of giving the child to the ex fiancé would be harmful to mc!
if he left elle with a nanny or even someone else it would’ve made much more sense and wouldn’t have been as mentally tolling. it would also make him a little less hateful imo bc it would seem that he is taking elle away bc he believes mc can’t take of him, but the act of giving elle to the fiancé just made him seem spiteful. this is just my opinion though im curious how this will continue moving forward (〜￣△￣)〜
