amazing plot and love story in the making- beautiful art only highlights the raw emotions and honesty that the characters feel for each other. their love for each other in the romantic sense or platonic sense is natural and it is evident that they clearly care for each other. the characters are all unique in terms of personality and prove that you don't need to be an edgy/angst-driven lead to make music and be in a band- it's all about finding your voice and a reason to make someone with your talents. i absolutely love this manga so much and it has motivated me to go back to music myself.

i honestly cried so much when i thought tenka was going to be executed the first time- he did so much for this brothers and the entire village that his death would literally deprive the town of their only source of sunshine when cloudy skies prevailed for hundreds of years. i adored all the brothers because they have so much to offer to the world and each other- unconditional love, a desire to grow strong and protect others, and the unyielding belief that there is good in this world. truly, these brothers have had a shitty hand dealt to them by life but that doesn't stop them from laughing and finding happiness in places where you would least expect it. sure, some people might find their actions naive or downright unwise but in this world where there is so much darkness and not enough love, these brothers would truly bring good wherever they go with only themselves. and if that isn't amazing, the ability to capture the love and goodness in a person's heart, then i don't know what is.
