This is also the reason why Flashlight S2 was delayed because Yangma couldn't even hold a pen during this entire event. She had to get therapy because it already compromised her mental health. However it seems that Kyou was still not satisfied once season 2 came and aired it out on X, even saying it's "up to the readers", meaning they're leaving it up to the readers to judge if their accusations were true, essentially sending their followers to harass Yangma on social media. Good thing most of the readers are on Yangma's side, saying the claims and "proofs" that Kyou had were outrageous and too far-off to be called plagiarism. People even said that if that was plagiarism then Kyou plagiarized JAXX's Walk on Water too because the theme and American setting were similar. Kyou had to mute his comments because of the backlash. Yangma-nim also released a statement regarding this and that's where it was found out about the bullying and harassment from Kyou's end.
Yangma had to take a break from work, thus the brief hiatus, but it's great that she's back.

They have the same publisher, Lezh1n, so Kyou kept h@r@ssing Yangma through the company and even set rules for Yangma to continue working like there should no similarities between the two works from chapter 20 onwards of Flashlight. Me too! I do support authors that I like when I have the budget (even buying out all the chapters at once), I just lurk on here to test the waters on manhwas and if I don't like it, I won't continue reading and won't buy the official release.
Shutline was good but not THAT good for the author to behave that way and I hated them for that so I unfollowed them on X. Shutline's current progress is also meh, unlike Flashlight's where I'm on edge and excited on Yujin and Aaron's relationship. In fact people were comparing Flashlight and Shutline and said Kyou's characters were ugly and it's a reach to compare them to Aaron and Yujin's beauties i love this community lmao

If it was gonna end like this then that whole Chuck arc shouldn't have been made man. I feel like they should've put that on S2 and then S3 for their happy ending/marriage, and the side stories for their married life. My guess is that An An wasn't doing any better with the releases so they rushed the author to keep it at S3 only, it's obvious author wanted to do more but can't. Hopefully the side stories are better cause that ending was whack.
