so far, i can't think of any other person who has a solid motive to make Keira (of all people) receive memories of the future in their stead
probably after Keira's death, there was something major that happened with Cosette which drove the father to seek help from the magician and travel back to the past
I also think this is 100% because otherwise who would have done it

I knew it was getting shady but the first chapters were pretty light hearted so I didn't expect it to be this heavy...
I don't know who to blame anymore, it really makes you think about how much an environment can affect a person. But, it never justifies violence.

it's been a while since we got a good story with a character who has big ambitions but has yet to demonstrate any skills to make for it.
i'm actually pretty invested in him and his alter ego. he might not have the same "strong" capabilities as his peers, BUT he is unique in his own way -- making you wonder how the author intends to use his revival ability to impact his surroundings.
there was a lot of world building, that's why it took this many chapters before we reached the lead-in to the main conflict -- which will lead to the development of our main characters.
be patient. a protagonist is well-designed and interesting when he was a lot of challenges to overcome.
he is practically OBSESSED, in a problematic way... seems really unhealthy IMO
see how he straight up tried to avoid the topic by physically indulging her?? RED FLAG
if this is the kind of setting it's going to be, i just hope Maise WOULDN'T easily welcome his behavior because "she loves him" cuz... that's dumb and wrong
