I started reading this story because I gained interest in the "Strong Female Lead" tag recently, a big change for a BL-loving fujo at heart. The MC has gained enough power to change the misogynistic society, which was the premise of this narrative. I already have little interest in hetero-romance, but now that this subplot has been going on for at least 20 episodes, I'm really at the end of my patience. Hoping that the MC can actually take control of her Saintess powers and stop acting like a damsel in distress all of the time.
Actually "The King and His Knight" is exactly the medieval-themed fantasy manga with the "Strong Female Lead" tag that you're talking about, which inspired me initially. I was kind of expecting something like that. If you haven't read it already, I highly recommend! Lives up to the tag name for sure.
A woman does not only have one way in bring strong. Being strong does not only mean physical strength or force. Brains are very important and I think the MC is using it as much as she can run. Remember that this us a hyper patriarchal society and a woman like her can't just go around doing whatever just because her family favours her
Yah, I totally agree that "strength" is multifaceted. Still, I think the romance subplot is too distracting of a diversion from the "let's reform society" narrative. It's time for the MC to enjoy the fruits of her labor with enchanting her family members, securing an outstanding husband, and awakening formidable powers of her own.
I started but never finished reading this manga seven years ago when I was in middle school. I always wondered about the ending of this masterpiece, but was unable to remember the name of the series for the longest time. I spontaneously recalled "Psyren," and was finally able to finish reading this after almost a decade. In two days, nonetheless, lol. So elated!
I love this mangaka's art style. I first read "Omae no Koi wa Ore no Mono," then "Tadatada Suki to Iwasete." I've concluded that Sensei likes bara/older/taller ukes, which perfectly suits my fujo tastes. Love how they illustrate the gap between perception and action of the uke; really gets the moe going. Art is phenomenal, engaging plot, and character design is absolutely stunning. I've pinned so many pictures of this mangaka's work.
Some of the sexiest, mature smut I've ever had the pleasure of feasting my eyes upon. The details in each position and expression as well as the skilled use of flashback adds to the superb quality. The character designs are gorgeous as well, and the chemistry between the couple is clear as day. Wow. My nonexistent d*ck is hard as hell right now. 10/10 work
This kid is quite literally THE WORST seme I've ever had the displeasure of reading about. He has absolutely no redeemable qualities at all. Since BL is fantasy, I understand attraction to semes who are abusive, torturous, or downright rapists (like Sangwoo from Killing Stalking or the guy from Painter of the Night). But this one... he's just an asshole. I don't see the appeal with him at all, even in the "bad seme" sense. I just...don't understand. Kind of wish this story focused more on his redemption, rather than his foolery. 32 chapters of asshole and 1 chapter of semi-redemptive moment? Talk about a bad ratio, lmao.

This artist's smut is...simply astonishing. Never fails to make my imaginary d*ck rock solid. The positions, expressions, and anatomical details are simply superb.
the flavor is *sniffs* immaculate, i must say
