The story is getting really interesting these past few chapters tbh. The ML's behavior is progressing from the standard 'crazy yandere' overpowered and rich yandere to a complex multilayered person and actually shows how unpredictable he is. He gets heartbroken, upset one moment then he hurts himself, cries the next. Author is so talented cuz I felt pity for him when he started banging his head after hyungnim told him to get a wife too.
From his perspective (a crazy pov mind u), he is jeopardizing everything he's sacrificed to get here (from a lowly concubine's son, he "clawed" his way up). His ministers don't like him. His state is against him and the country is poor state and degrading. And he's jeopardizing everything for his Hyungnim who doesn't even like him or isn't even gay (to the best of his knowledge and ours). He came to Hyungnim for reassurance and got fed shit in return. He really reached his breaking point this time, and started to cry and beg for even a fraction of his love. And tbh pushing aside all his faults, he does really act like someone who's mentally struggling. Bro doesn't need a country he needs to heal
It was also surprising to see Hyungnim actually stop him from hurting himself. He's so nice tbh I would have fallen for him too. Despite everything the other person did, he still remains so held together. Regardless, there's no telling what will happen cuz his family got killed and that has to be addressed sooner or later...
So far 10/10 story if you ask me. And it's pretty funny to see how much I like it, considering I was gonna drop it when I was reading the first 15 chapters lol
