I get your point but this isn’t toxic or lazy writing. Seunghyun is the previous wagakashira of Yakuza. And Yuta was previously a sex worker there. I don’t know if you’re familiar with what goes on behind the scenes in such establishments but whatever the author is writing is pretty much what you would expect actually. I like that she doesn’t sugarcoat that world. Yakuzas and mafias aren’t nice people who would be green flags. People here have this perception that oh but it’s a story …the mafia would be a dark psycho who’s good for the MC and shit. But it would never be the reality. This author keeps it real. Mutilation, death, assault are normal stuff in that world. Hating it or loving it one’s own choice. Even I don’t like these non- con scenes and till date i absolutely hate people like Caesar and Zhenya. But this does not have lazy or boring writing. The author keeps it real and that’s it.

Am I the only one who thinks He Tian is a bit of a yellow flag? Like i do like him and he does always think good of little Mo, but it just seems like sometimes he forces upon his decisions on him. I mean sure we all want Mo to have a better apartment, and I also get that he’s stubborn and would not listen but just going ahead and breaking shit in the name of renovation is not right no? Mo comes from a poor background and he is definitely the type of person who would like the feeling of standing up on their own. And He Tian imposing stuff on him….i wonder if he feels indebted.

I love them so much and they are my favorite couple, but yeah I have to agree on this, I thought the same too. You can't just go ahead and do something major like that without anyone's permission, at least the landlord's lol. He Tian means well and he is loving and caring, but he can be thoughtless sometimes like this incident for example, demolishing ("renew") the apartment. He is smart and all, but I think from this aspect he doesn't know how to handle these type of situations and be considerate about it. It made me recall when she li told He Tian that you and Mo come from different worlds implying this will not work out for you.. which was so sad. it's not a hopeless case situation, if He Tian tries to work on himself and be more considerate that would be better for both of them, and Mo on the other hand can affect He Tian in a positive light and change him for the better, his impulsive behavior wise
