Taehwan is by no means homophobic. I believe it's laying more on the 'internalized homophobia' side. He's afraid of the external consequences of being labeled and recognized for his sexuality, be it whatever it is (but not straight, of course). He's unable to face his own sexuality properly, be it due to his raising or the environment he's in.
I was someone with internalized homophobia as well, even though I've always been a big LGBT supporter and most of my friends are part of the community, it took me years before I could accept to myself I was not straight. That said, I also have a gay friend who's homophobic, and BOY, it IS a thing!
I praise this author because so far she's done an EXCELLENT delivery of these heavier topics, always have, so I expect great things from this couple ヾ(☆▽☆)

I believe that's why Yeonwu feels responsible (he shouldn't, but he does) about Taehwan. He mentioned before that something DID happen between the two, that was probably the trigger for Taehwan.
Either that OR something else happened before, then whatever happened with Yeonwu did, and Taehwan felt attacked and betrayed. We need more of their past history together to know for sure, and we barely know about Taehwan's past as well ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ

i think more people need to also consider that he's got serious trauma in his past that has skewed his ability to even think about his own sexuality in a meaningful way. he's clearly also got MASSIVE trust issues the cause of which we do not yet know (in the eng chpts) so like...its possible he's in denial but i think its more likely he's not even far enough to be in denial and has instead closed off an entire part of himself from trauma in his past that he's desperately trying to bury and not interact with. just like notice how he's totally okay wiht dojin and taehee's relationship whats everyone talks it out. he's very close with taehee, if he was worried about the icky gay rubbing off on him or his reputation then i think he wouldnt still be so close and adoring of his brother (esp after finding out his brother pursued dojin NOT the other way around). thats why i think its all alot more complicated than he is homophobic or internalizing homophobic bs against himself. will be interesting to see how people's perceptions of taehwan change in the upcoming chpts i guess. (cause i think having control and fearing vulnerability are a far bigger obstacle to his sexual identity than say possible being into guys as well as girls u know?). so im not disagreeing with ur general point just adding onto to it.

*I'm barely in chapter 40 atm, so I don't know if this changes in the remaining 9 chapters but hopefully not because I'd be extremely disappointed (though I've read the comments regarding kaori...)
I didn't mind harems as much before, since most isekai content has them I tried getting used to them. There are good harems, bad ones, and ones I honestly don't even mind. But I have to say, if we had more MCs like Hajime I wouldn't mind harems AT ALL.
A guy that gives his girl her proper place and importance? That makes it clear every single time a girl tries something that Yue is his only girl? That, when Yue told him his heart was only hers, he was sure of himself and didn't spend half of the story dwindling around his feelings???
Honestly, I'm thoroughly impressed. It's been quite a long time since I've seen an MC like him (I've read other good isekai alike, but the point is there are too few of them). I truly like him as a character, I don't mind the harem so far since it's all clear between them, and I hope for the best for them.

I really need to see him happy please, he's too good to leave alone (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
That said, it feels like their story is just beginning so I wouldn't find it weird if we did get a volume 2 sometime in the future... hopefully (●'◡'●)ノ
Any recommendations like this one? I'm on a journey at the moment ヾ(☆▽☆)

I dislike harems as much as everyone else, but what's even worse than having a harem? Getting a character like Jeane. I hate characters that push their feelings onto someone without having the least bit of consideration for them or their feelings.
Has Astaroth ever said he liked her? Has he ever said he'd marry her? NO, NOT EVEN FREAKING ONCE IN THE WHOLE OF THEIR TIME TOGETHER. Yet, this girl has the AUDACITY to proclaim she's his wife/going to be his wife. It irks me honestly, I can't stand her!
Apart from her, I like it. The plotline is good and entertaining so far.

Oh my god.. you're right!! And it's worst when the MC get together with them just for the sake of it at the end of the story. I suddenly have a flashback of Toriko where he suddenly marries Rin who bothers him at every single meeting and after that, he just leave her on earth and travel through the galaxy with his travel partner which is a guy (that everyone teases them that they were actually a couple because their chemistry too strong).. I was like, WTF? Why marry her then? Just to show some hetero moment? That you should marry some girl to fullfill society standard and leave her for along time to wait for you to come back home while you're having a blast somewhere else? Geez..

I just reread the whole thing, and I'm not saying this just because BL, but Desir x Pram have the best interactions and they're imo the best fit, good chemistry, and personality-wise. I know it won't happen, but they're surely a great couple together.
Second place for me is definitely Adjest, her composure and demeanor complement Desir well, they have good substance to their relationship as well and I like that she's strong and can stand on her own as well.
I do like Romantica, I'm not against her, but I don't believe she has good chemistry with Desir romantically speaking. I think Desir sees her as a good friend and past comrade, nothing more.

My fear is the next chapter... my fear is seeing the kids' and Jeremy's reaction when they know... Shuli was killed and in such a brutal way. I don't think I'll be able to see that with this fragile heart of mine ╥﹏╥
It was such a tragedy all along, Shuli believing no one wanted her and that she never had a place in that family, while in reality they thought highly of her and considered her family... until her last moments she was the 'fake mom'... and they never got to tell her otherwise, it was too late ╥﹏╥
I believe this one manga is a monthly release, should be at least, but recently the publication dates have been quite random? I'm following several raw websites and we can conclude that there haven't really been releases, just wondering what could be happening or if anything happened to the manga artist here :( hopefully it's just a long break!
