They were so young. They hurt themselves and hurt each other in the process. But they're also working hard, albeit separately, to better themselves so they can face each other in the future. I wish nothing but the best for them, and I'm sure that that promised cup of coffee isn't that far away.
I also love how Jinhyeong still very much cherishes the photos they took together and remembers him once in a while. They permeated each other's lives. Him being able to share all of this with Uyun also means that he's healing, so I'm also happy about that! Can't wait for more.
Been digging around to see why it was cancelled or if it was cancelled at all. I haven't been able to find anything substantial.
1. Do we know the reason why it was dropped? I understand we had a little less than a hundred chapters to finish, according to the novel.
2. Are spoilers about Yuseong and Dojin true? I've been seeing this everywhere but there's also barely anyone who have finished the novel... although I also want them together, it just doesn't feel like the author would do that considering the type of audience they initially had.
This had been ongoing for YEARS. Makes no sense to suddenly drop it like that... either something happened with the original studio or...
I might be reading this wrong, and I also can't help but agree with everyone who says it's definitely Stockholm syndrome, but there's something about MC's eyes when he looks straight at ML whenever he's expressionless. ML calls it "being pretty," but it is also when MC is coldly analyzing ML and reevaluating his own situation.
If we weren't privy to his thoughts, I'd think it's just a case of Stockholm syndrome, sure, but I don't think that's the case. Not entirely, at least.
I'm not sure where it'll go from here. But it feels like, although MC is STILL attracted to Kangwoo, he is also sober. He also understands he has no choice at the moment but to follow this lunatic's logic if he wants to survive. At the same time, I can't shake this feeling that MC won't just stay put forever. If anyone has spoilers, they're more than welcome! Lol.
I tend to avoid stories whose sole plot revolves around a lack of communication, particularly when characters have always been into each other but don't get together for YEARS because they're dumb like that. I thought this one would be fine because it's cute and I love the art style. I had also heard ML was the obsessive/possessive type.
But they reeeeeally get on my nerves :) especially in chapter 34, when the MC says, "The answer had always been in front of us, how silly we are." My, a good slap to both of you is due!!!
This said, it is my fault since I KNOW how I feel about this kind of story and I still decided to read it. It is actually a nice story, I like the characters for the most part, and I really love the art style. I just needed to vent my frustrations, if you enjoy them going in circles without ever communicating until waaaaay into the story... then this is for you!
I'm obsessed with this and For You Who Grieves. How am I supposed to feel satisfied reading anything else when I've read such peak works back to back??? It's a shame, a huge shame really ┗( T﹏T )┛
Can't wait for the epilogue and side stories, we're waiting for you baby Iseo! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
Any recommendations for similar plots? Doesn't have to be guideverse specifically, more like one side messes up and gets sent to the past to fix that... and on the plot-heavy side, maybe? ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
This is my first guideverse, so I'm very open to more like this, too!
This regression trope, particularly with an MC in showbiz and ML as corporate CEO, has been huge for a while in danmei... I really hope we get to see more novel adaptations and manhwa with this trope! ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
That being said... It's definitely not the best I've read, but it's still cute, and I like their relationship for the most part. It felt quite rushed towards the end, but I guess most things got solved one way or another.
One difference with danmei is that another popular trope in these storylines is when their relationship is finally public and then they get married. I kinda hoped to see that, but this is fine too, I guess?
Didn't he retain his curse form in the end, hence he's not white nor blonde??? Why are ppl complaining?
His dazzling golden blonde hair and white skin were his original human form but he was unable to go back to it, unless he uses the charm he had (which I believe he can't use for long anyway). So, he remained with dark skin and hair but kept his golden eyes.
Happy to know there'll be more in the near future. Tbh...
I want to see what mess they'll come back to. Particularly Jihan, since it looks like he either never went home or barely... there's also university and else. I'm very curious to see how they rebuild their lives, together this time.
Does anyone have a link to the raws? I can't access the title on RIDI or MrBlue because of the age restriction ┗( T﹏T )┛

It's been a while since I've felt so on edge reading a manhwa, every single chapter I'm worried about something even when nothing's really happening. I love it!
Does anyone have any recs with similar vibes? Like this one or Death is the Only Ending for the Villainess ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
I've already read spoilers, but even so I already disliked him from the beginning. His design is cool and I like his role and interventions, too. But I just can't deal with his sexual harassment, especially when our MC has made it clear how much she dislikes it...
You know, I don't usually get triggered by stuff like that, I've read far too much content with SA and the like (because it's everywhere, really). But for some reason it just really triggered me here ╥﹏╥ MC doesn't deserve that...
Although I didn't mind their interaction much in eps. 25-26, but the episode when they're doing the 'interview' over dinner REALLY triggered me as badly as MC... she's the only character I like here tbh (and maybe even Libby, who seems sincere enough)
