Helena never had an option. She is not with crown prince even tho he is engaged because she wants to. She was never asked of HER opinion. Crown prince just decided he likes her than means they're now together. Both eris and helena cannot choose their life trajectory because of Crown Prince. He is the one deciding evrything.

I thought the same thing. The story skips certain parts and the sentences dont really make sense. In the beginning it was easier to read and was understandable. Now it's some what confusing and very rushed.
I feel like the first few arc although fast pace but it’s well enough to read but recent arcs are like sighssss like we kinda know what’s happening but there’s really just no depth it’s just character doing this bc of etc but like I’m pretty sure that’s no the best way to go or smth just the characters are too 2d and not flesh out as compared to beginning arcs
