i read the first 60 chapters in the past. got tired of it, dropped it. jus skipped to the last chapter and wow this is such a third-rate love story how the fuck did this get serialized in the first place? not to mention the art is also subpar (i have to say i respect them as an artist cuz that shit is hard but the art style jus isnt my type) 1/5 for the time i cried when she couldnt speak anymore, without that i wouldnt even give it 1 star ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
they're really overplaying claude being asleep. like istg no matter how much i love him if he doesnt wake up in the next two chapters ima jus drop this -.-
i saw someone talk about how the manhwa stretches the claude sleeping arc more than the novel and i jus wonder why they did that. it's probably a good business move since i doubt many people will drop the manhwa near the ending but it gets tiring :( or maybe that's my short asf attention span crying
he just looks like he got some tattoos;-; if anything it looks kinda cool. also i feel conflicted, can this be considered grooming or not ;? i feel like it is. she may be in a childs body; however, she's still an adult if she was old enough to read an 18+ novel ;/ MaN tHIs Is WhY IvE bEEn reLUcTaNT tO rEad thIS WhEn I sAw The cOVeR pAgE AnD thE tiTlE caLLiNg hEr soMeOnes wIFe( ̄へ ̄)
Shit I just realized that too. But what if we look it in a way that she just wants to protect the child till the fl Diana shows up and cures his curse. Right now, she doesn’t seem to have romantic feelings towards him and instead is just trying to support him as much as she can. Ancia’s thought process consists of her helping Blake abs then leaving once Diana shows up so once the ml grows up, of course he’s not gonna let Ancia leave and that’s when I’m guessing she’ll begin to see him as a man and develop feelings. I forgot how old Ancia originally is but yep I also get your point.
Dude, she's just trying to look after him till he grows up before she sends him off with the FL Diana. She just said like either last chapter or the one before that she's going to have to leave and that she was lying when she said she wouldn't leave. They're already married, she's using that to get him to open up so she can help him because in the original story his life after the character she was possessing died was terrible. She plans to stop his dad from dying too.
yes she has good intentions. for me it cant change the fact that she WILL fall in love with a boy who she treated as a child for idfk how many years. im gonna be conflicted if someone falls in love with an adult (who has the body of a child) who has taken care of them since they were a child. it just doesnt sound right ykk?? this is why i feel like authors should jus put people in bodies correlating to their actual age -n-
I think you misunderstood the true meaning of child grooming. So let me give you an example of grooming.
-giving gifts or special attention to a child or young person, or their parent or carer, making the child or young person feel special and/or indebted to an adult.
-making close physical contact sexual, such as inappropriate tickling and wrestling/play fighting.
-openly or pretending to accidentally expose the victim to nudity, sexual material and sexual acts (this in itself is classified as child sexual abuse but can also be a precursor to physical sexual assault).
-controlling a child or young person through threats, force or use of authority making the child or young person fearful to report unwanted behaviour.
Just because the MC was inside of a child's body and was taking care of a child who's much younger than him, it doesn't mean that she's grooming the ML. As long as the MC doesn't have an ill intentions towards the ML, or is trying to manipulate him or to sexually abuse him, then there's no grooming happening on this manhwa.
Oh, that's not what i got from your post at all, but that's something to consider. On one hand, she's going to be physically his age and he'll be old enough to consent (hopefully), but in the other hand it'll be the mentality of an older lady falling for a (hopefully) 18 or more yr old that she cared for.
Something I'll say is that their relationship was immediately set to "married couple", so she sorta took care of him under that context.
im not gonna re-read the first few chapters bc they're already blurry to me so correct me if i say something wrong.
according to what i remember, the maid was close enough to her master to talk about running away with her, right? if so why does she just accept her master suddenly changing? it's different for the family bc they werent close to her so they wouldnt understand her little quirks like what vocabulary she uses, her habits, likes, and dislikes. yet, the maid should know those things if she really paid attention to and was close with the girl like she said. i dont believe the mc is able to change the way she acts (or doesnt bother to seeing as she jus stormed out the house) to match the original soul of the body she is in.
furthermore, if someone im close to suddenly has a major change in attitude i could be able to accept that. since it i dont know what's going on in their heads or if something around them is going on. however, if they start using different wording like calling me in a more formal way instead of a nickname, saying you guys instead of yall, calling a water fountain a bubbler, etc, ima get sus. to add onto this, if they stop biting their nails, become interested in something they've never talked about, like wearing pink instead of blue. those little every day things about a person you notice, if many changes piles up jus like that, wouldnt you become hella sus????
after all, habits are something you cant just change because you want to. if that was possible people would be exercising every day instead of lazing around then complaining about their weight ykk?? imo the maid simply accepting it makes me feel like she's a useless character with no observational skills. "kill the villainess" is a much better and more realistic story in this aspect. i feel like other authors should learn from it lmaoo
yes it's good for people to change positively. you want people you care about to be happy. i get that. im talking about how it's irregular for the maid to ignore mc's major change habits and vocabulary. the main character clearly doesn't act the same as the original soul. the mc who has 1000 years of experience definitely has words ingrained in her vocabulary that a sheltered girl like the og soul wouldnt know. her habits she's formed over the years will definitely stay dominant to the og souls. it's not just an 'attitude change.' she acted as a whole different person (bc she is) down to the fucking bone and the maid acted as if it was jus an attitude change and moved on. it's stupid to me;-;
Agree. Tho she's just too stupid so many people will cut her some slack. Like maids are supposed to be smart and do your jobs and evil deeds in the shadows and shit but she doesn't even see that her master's a different human now and I personally think she's here just for the fan service, like many characters in different animes...like who says that all people who play at casino are evil like wtf...at this point i just don't expect anything smart of her....

i wonder if we'll get a second season of the lady's law of survival now that this is over. not really sure how this stuff works tho ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
