There was one part where Lee Jihye tried to remember Dokja's face but then realized that she can't remember how he looks like... as if his face is a blur or something's blocking her memory of him.
There was also that part where the novel said that he had long eyelashes.
So in conclusion, he ain't ugly. It's just that the people "were made" to think of Dokja as ugly.
i remember that part, but i just hate how they just "assume" that he's ugly cus they don't see his face clearly all the time. couldn't the author just make them "assume" that he a gorgeous beast like he is, well whatever? at least i know that he's sexy
