no he doesn't love the blonde royal he's just playing a game and messing with him in his twisted way, i did say he was a prickly hag. if talking about whether he's a good or not it's debatable obviously but if considering his interaction and feelings towards his spinel in the future you might change your pov on him.

i feel like i didn't explain but all those wounds on the hags spinel are by his wife who abuses him, that's why he was trembling. eventually he leaves her (even though she was in higher power so he was letting go of his power for his spinel) and leaves with him. btw this is from other ppls spoilers so like this is basically the gist whats going on.
