i was reading the raw and from what the flashbacks showcased, it looks like he actually knew the ml was a man from the start? either that or midway falling in love with mc. he is shocked initially at first and in disbelief, that’s why he was always standoffish with mc before actually genuinely falling for him. it was super sweet and touching ngl, so it makes that car crash scene and cliff drive off even more impactful omg… my heart man…..

so then AFTER, he gradually regained his memory but by bit. he felt a semblance when MC called ML in america after his mom died and shed a tear but couldn’t recall why from what it looked like. he then eventually got his stuff shipped to him including the notebook, which from what it seemed like is the trigger that got his memories back? he began to cry reading the sweet suicide-esque note he wrote thinking the MC died that day, therefore getting his memories back and i now feel like i need to reread every interaction they had meeting in the present day lol. the way ML looks at MC really makes me feel the genuine true love he has for him

I've read up to ch 66 and yes, in the past the ml found out the MC was male during their stay in the hotel.
I want to know the time in the story - when did he regain his memories? Definitely not just before saving the MC from his brother. Also, I doubt it was after reading his old diary. His behavior didn't change, his mimic, nothing changed. I'm almost tempted to think, that he regained his memories before meeting the MC again. But since he wasn't entirely sure (he didn't know how MC looks without the disguise) and not knowing for certain if his "love" was alive or dead, he decided to test it out. I think the whole him asking to live together was to confirm his suspicion.
I just don't have the time RN to reread everything.

Or he couldve just not lost memory? Pretending to lost it so the family did not intefere?
