I completly agree with you! We tend to take sides when our mc collide but here we don't even have that. They broke up peacefully while crying their eyes out. Both of them are in love, but lack of communication. So why blame someone? Do people feel better now that they blamed the uke for everything? I really don't get it...
Yea lack of communication from the MC. He didn't even give a reason for breaking up with him he just did it. He came up to his job and tried to talk to him but kept turning him down. Then gets sad when he finally says it's over. Your ex is at home falling apart while your in a motel with a dude about to have sex. Not gonna keep fighting to stay with someone who keeps pushing me away.
The MC thinks that he is cheating on his wife with him and his best friend when is reality he isn't. Which his best friend kinda of shows cause she was happy to find out they were a thing.
True I keep seeing this pattern in other mangas too; this is what I call the shinji ikari effect when people see realistic characters they tend to hate them like when they do something dumb (they would immediately bash them for not doing something to get a desirable plot for their entertainment). Tho it gets tedious if this misunderstanding is prolonged, it just pisses me off that people dont even think before commenting *sigh
We know that the ex is falling apart in his apartment, the truth about the relationship between the seme and his sister, the seme's sexual orientation, the fact that the sister/best friend knows about the relationship and is happy about it, etc.... but the uke doesn't know all these. From his pov the seme isn't falling apart but probably having a nice dinner with his wife or something like this.
Moreover, communication invovles two or more parties. You can't blame only one if there is a miscommunication, both are equally in fault. I think both of them are in their own little world and never actually listened carefully what the other one has to say. But if they did then there wouldn't be a plot, so let's be patient. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Everyday i learn something new! I have also bashed characters when they were trully assholes, or disliked them for their personality. Likes and dislikes are not bad but here we have a teen in his first love and people are bashing him for ....miscommunication.
