can you tell me about this arc please?

not just a new arc, it’s a whole sequel (lol)!

the story follows after the events of the first book (passion), where the tarten family (the t in t&r, you can think of them as business partners with the riegrow family) is about to be passed over to the next candidate, richard tarten. richard is the top in the new couple for this book (richard x christophe) and you can think of him as a manipulative, two faced business man. fair warning, if you thought ilay was toxic, richard will make him look cute (lol).

christophe tarten (the bottom) is another member of the family, who was also a member of the riot force and a colleague of ilay. he’s literally the most gorgeous man ever (yes this is important to the story lmfao) and he has a lot of trauma and can’t stand being touched. he and richard hate each other for various reasons. and yes, they are cousins.

ilay is needed at the tarten mansion because tradition says that a member of the riegrow family needs to approve the next successor, and taeui also ends up in the mansion to retrieve the books that christophe stole from kyle (which is ultimately just an excuse on kyle’s part).

the ‘second male lead’ part probably is because when taeui and christophe end up becoming friends, christophe ends up ‘falling’ for taeui and confessing to him (interpretations of this vary but i personally think christophe has never had a friend before and he’s mistaking friendship for love lol). don’t worry, this goes no where (just makes richard jealous as fuck and forces him to come to terms with his feelings for christophe)
