Man. I can’t and don’t want to take side because I both know where they’re coming from.
Major kwan does his best to warn dr. Seok because he doesn’t want him to be further expose of the risk underlying with dr.Oh’s death(which has something to do with the higher ups), so if we’re going to look at the major’s perspective, this is his way of protecting him so dr.seok wouldn’t sink deeper.
But to dr. Seok, his curiousity continues to eat him alive, there are questions that needs answers. To dr. Seok who lived in a safer, better environment, he cant tolerate whatever shit is happening in that city, and he believes that HE can make changes, he’s not the type of person who would simply back down just because someone told him to. He has a self righteous personality that some might find annoying and dumb, but in reality, he’s just like that precisely because he lived a comfortable life compared to them, and he still hasnt comprehend the gravity of the situation.
Major kwan is protecting the doctor by doing his job. But i also wouldn’t blame the doctor because if i was in his position, I don’t think i would turn a blind eye and act as if these happenings are nothing.
It’s a good read if we could bypass the 11 yr old body but overall i like it, although it did weirded me out
