I think romance is absolutely unnecessary anyway, the saintess looks at him as an idol, and Alice thinks of him as a child. He just needs to stay independent and achieve his goals.

Actually, yes, Woo-Won’s father HAS been mentioned a few times in the story already. He left his wife and son after a failed business, came back with a huge gambling debt (which is why Woo-Won and his mom were working their butts off), and disappeared from their lives again. It was still in Season 1, I believe, when Woo-Won’s mom warned her son to NEVER meet with his father in person, let alone answer a call from him.
