Umm I see yall are kinda mad at her but how many of you have actually been in a serious dom sub relationship where you know all the rules and didnt she make him feel good soooo I'm just confused

As someone in the BDSM community.... this felt absolutely UNCOMFORTABLE to read and was clearly written by an outsider.... also there is more to it then pain and making him feel good. She was abusing him because he didn't fit the version of him she had in mind like he isn't a real person.... this is not only a quite common delusion in the kpop stan community but in Asian entertainment (specifically kpop) to feel that you are entitled to an idol

This was written by an amateur outsider who views the bdsm community as perversion and a freak...
And while its too early to see her full reaction...
She doesn't seem like the type of character who would reflect on her prejudice... because the author clearly didn't think this part through.... which really makes me question why they added this.... if would have been absolutely fine if they left this out....

Yes, there are people who get off to this, but the key here is consent.
It would have been absolutely fine if he liked being hit and she liked delivering it, but here, the only reason she started doing so in the first place was because he didn't "fit the image" she crafted of him by watching a few videos. That's not ok.
I was fine with it in the previous chapter cause I thought the author was going for something comedic that would accidentally turn her on and delve slowly into the bdsm community but this chapter...idk, if she was going for what I thought, she did it wrong.

Thanks for your input as a member of the BDSM community ! This chapter and the comments hyping it made me hella uncomfortable... And a lot of people are fine with it just because it’s his « dream » and he « likes it ». The problem is that MC’s intentions are abusive and she acts according to this abusive and toxic mindset. Not mentioning that she is slut-shaming him thinking every word.... The list goes on.
Overall I feel that everything went wrong since she entered in the idol dream - the story was fun until then but now I can’t help feeling disgusted because of this scene.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but the bdsm concept rarely seems to be used properly ; and readers as much as authors are keen to use it as an excuse to overstep every boundaries and forget communication.

You are absolutely right... its so difficult to find a good BDSM without being written by someone who's in the community.... cause they use the Stereotypical ideas of what bdsm is and what they imagine it (what do straight- mostly, im generalizing - know about communications and boundaries? I feel like those aren't talked about enough when I see a depiction of straight romance)
He's about to get railed
It’s all he ever wanted
