Grape was the all-day plot with some amnesia and the female characters were psychos or useless plot themes.
Now art can be awesome, the plot may be plotting, and grape... well, grape is still there, but with a lot of criticism.

With the exception of a few I do find it to be the older manga yaois with grape and then they have started to be better/have it less use noncon way less but the webtoons are somehow bringing it back so I wonder if it is just since they are younger and still to evolve

I was thinking the other day. If the owens didn't have their own material body it's like the original Owen have a case of multiple personalities and it fits cuz all the owens really represent different sides he now couldn't express because of what he had been through.
Right on. It’s a weird unique concept, this one has physical different bodies although interconnected mentally. If I remember, all desire Nux because Main Owen desires Nux and loves Nux, and Nux desires and loves all the other Owens in different ways. Some expect Nux to love the others the same way as he does to Main, but they aren’t seeing that it’s because of Main Owen that Nux can love the others.
“Loving different aspects of you” is how I see it.
Main Owen being insecure makes sense in a way. Not everyone can love themselves, it’s difficult. There are parts of us we don’t want to share with our loved ones. We are physically seeing it. I can’t wait for the day when Main Owen does and is fine with Nux embracing the other Owens.
