I feel like the story could be good again if it wasn't for the fan base. There is legit ppl saying the author didn't mean bad, that people are just overreactin, and etc. Seeing that with a racist chapter doesn't make it look like anyone learned better or that it was just a mistake. That's legit why I stopped reading it cause the comments were getting disgusting and supporting the author.

You know?No one would be saying anything(neither supporting the author nor saying overreacting) if those who claimed to not read this anymore but still comment/reply under every new chapter/comment like they're di*king/insulting/sassing at the other readers for keep reading this.There are ppl who just love to discuss their thoughts on comment section and when they open the section to do that and see 99% of the places filling with those things and can't even write a comment without getting a reply(like the aforementioned case) abt that arc AGAIN regardless of og comments being relevant to that arc or not,it's bound to get on ppl's nerves and them also feeling attacked for no reason other than wanting to keep reading something they're already invested in. Friendly advice since you didn't seem to write this comment for the above reasons,ignore this manga's existence and stop coming here. keep reading this or not is your business but this fandom is rly dangerous as of now since the reader are feeling attacked no less than the colored ppl for that word.No,i'm not black so i can only imagine the black ppl's pain at the word but I can tell you as a reader of this that I feel rly discriminated,furious,insulted and attacked right now bc I dare to keep enjoying a fiction I put my interest in since the start of that fiction and dare to want to show my thoughts on this manga other than that arc,bc I dare to talk abt other arc than that one and dare to get angry when they're behaving the similar way as the author to the readers like me who skip that arc(or just not commenting on it) and keep reading.

Maybe,you didn't see them but there are many comments who are rly rude and cursing at us and calling us racists for keep reading(Reading not even talking abt the author).The toxicity of the fan base is not one sided.I can assure you.Most of us didn't even mention anything abt that arc or author when we first start re-reading it(the new arc just came up when the i found out they updated and i read it again since then and went into the comment sections alot so I know where the problems started).They just dragged those things into our comments and started all these things.
