They basically do. The "royal father" is the father of the deceased Vanessa whom married the duke of Winterwald (Ruideger and Jason's dad) and gave birth to Jason Winterwald (Luca's dad). Ruideger and Jason are half-siblings (Ruideger's mom is Sophia, the current duchess). Luca is the product of one night stand between Jason and FL's sister. Lastly, our Fl and her sister are the granddaughters of the Royal Father's younger sister (the princess that ran away). So in a way there are all related, more like distant cousins?
