from a psychological standpoint charin is so well written. the attempts of self preservation and the blindness to your own hypocrisy. really complex i love him

why is the mc so brainwashed. this guy acts out of line excessively and the mc will just chalk it up to it being good for him in the long run. i know that he’s being manipulated so i have to account for that but man this is so difficult to read right now :( like at some point in this very long hostage friendship he should’ve been like wait all that behavior wasn’t okay. especially during that time they got separated. i don’t even know anymore
and that aspect of it is dragging on so long too... it's obvious it'll all come to a head soon but rn it feels like it's taking forever while he's just continuously trying to violate more and more boundaries
i love them so much. they’re such an angsty pairing but that makes them more complex and it makes them feel human so i love it
