But, well, I take this as it is: a comic.
This is fiction, those characters don't exist in real life and the rape never happened, so I don't mind and it doesn't affect me.

But there wasn’t rape in the beginning so of course people are freaking out about it. And even though it doesn’t affect u, it might affect others. U never know

By the way, that's my opinion and of course you don't have agree with that.
I just don't find gross, scary or wrong this "topic" when it comes about works of fiction, 'cause I can't get mad or scared or whatever if a NON EXISTENT person gets raped.
And I know it might affect others, but if you know already that you don't like rape or con non-con and you see a big ass "THIS CHAPTERS CONTAINS GRAPHIC CONTENT" you shouldn't keep going.

Yeah, but like... a lot of things are imagination and drawings, but it still affects the mental state of others and can mirror how others feel. Just bc it’s characters on a paper doesn’t mean that it actually hasn’t happened to other.

Sadly it happened to me too and that's why I draw a big line between what's real or not.
I know it can affect others, and this is why at the beginning of the chapter there was a trigger warning.
If you keep reading knowing that and then complain, that's your fault.

I said I DON'T MIND IT, it doesn't affect me because through the years I came to the conclusion that fiction isn't reality and if someone protrays rape in books or comics it doesn't mean they're romanticizing or justyfing it.
And it isn't romanticized in this case, because the brother of the MC's first crush isn't protrayed as a lover or someone that has a relationship with him, but as an abusive person that goes to jail for that.

Bruh. They are lines on paper. Also people should be responsible and read the summaries, warnings, AND/OR the tags. If they get triggered, that's their own fault. They should be smart enough to not actively seek out and avoid that type of content ?? (Different story if there is no warnings obviously) And this "because it could have happened to other" argument is so just dumb cause I guess authors cant write about death or cancer or car accidents either "CaUsE iT CoUlD hAvE HaPpEnEd tO aNoThEr"

uhm it's more like, as a child he didn't have the right grasp about pleasure and didn't have an adult to walk him through the concept of sex and pleasure (which is expected since not a lot of parents ever talk about sex and all the context to it and considers it taboo-- personally i think this is why children become even more prone to sexual abuse, molestation or grooming)
the neighbor exposes him to masturbation and sexual activities (dare i say groomed jihyun to an extent) and manipulated jihyun to believe that he has a mental illness (i'm not sure if that's really the case or jihyun actually does have said mental illness instead of the neighbor just feeding him lies for his sickening intentions)
