The majority of the first two seasons so far is the mc naked and getting raped with not much progress emotionally. There was a small interesting tidbit about the ml’s upbringing and constitution. But I would recommend letting it marinate for awhile bc I think development is not happening until after chp 50.
So this story is just raping someone and blackmailing them…I was hoping this was gonna be some sort of psychological horror story or smth…I read like 5 chapters I think ima drop this
This story was SO ass bro, nothing was explained, there’s no character depth, the plot is absolutely atrocious, it’s like a fucking 12 year old wrote this
And also wtf is up with the title “and then the mermaid disappeared” firstly he’s not even a mermaid, he’s a merman, and when tf did he “disappear” was it not that ml that disappeared? Like the title doesn’t even correlate with the manhwa, seems like the author just threw some random shit together, characters looks ugly asf too
The title is like that bc his mermaid side disappeared but it's never explained if it's bc the love wasn't real or bc the love with a human gets rid of the mermaid tail. Honestly I didn't feel anything reading this bc it was so badly written and we didn't even get to know the characters properly (no motivations, no real flaws, flat conflict,etc) the artist created the concept of a story but didn't bother to flesh it out (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
