I can only read a manga for around 10 chapters straight. I read till around chapter 20 before taking a break which was a feat but I went straight back to reading. I've grown attached to this manga and I feel like the ending's approaching very soon :<

This makes me feel so bittersweet. I can only assume he goes to study abroad in the end, even though they spent that whole year together. They break up until he comes back, but eventually they started talking less.

And they lose contact.

The angst in me also feels like they date other people when they're around 20/21 but it doesn't work out because they still love one another. He tries contacting her but he heard from the side couple that she had a bf but they broke up not too long afterwards. 6 years later he becomes a famous new artist and comes back to Japan where he meets the side couple who are still together and engaged. The girl is working at a well known art gallery in Tokyo and he's invited to an event there and they meet again. (Purely what I think is what happened lol)

Letting her suffocate just cause she annulled the engagement cause HE was cheating with the SISTER.
