Idk if I'm the only one who thinks this since I didnt see any comments on it, but while the MC is intelligent(book smart), she has very little street smarts. I feel like she could have been written better. The parts where she was acting weren't presented very well and just made her look like a chuunibyou instead of looking mysterious and intelligent. I thought it was weird that she wanted to be younger when she already looked like a child before. And she was only 22 before. She wasn't even past marriageable age. She could have asked for something like "Make me age slower" instead of turning her into a child since she already looked like one. The only visible difference was that she looked a bit skinnier and shorter.
Also the part where she told Roland to act as bait while knowing damn well what her position is, and that the enemy already new that she was making the potions, but she sat directly in the way of where the enemy soldiers were going, kind of made me realize she's not as smart as she thinks. Why the hell would you sit there and stare at them on your horse, watching them run at you with weapons, instead of moving the hell out of the way? Her initial plan to lure them into a trap was good, but she just ruined it by getting in the way. Fym you're going to "observe the battlefield"?
She couldnt even defend herself so what did she think she was doing on the battlefield when she cant fight. The most she can do is poison their water and food or throw bombs at them, but what happens when they get in close and surround her? She was defenseless and helpless. You know what they call that? Arrogance and foolishness. The most experience she had in her past life was office work.
I understand that she wants to help people. However, there are plenty of ways other than what she did. She's just a manipulator that uses people for her own selfish reasons which just happened to be that. She didn't actually care. I could see she cared about the children but what about even one else? What she did was deception. She put on a mask and fooled people into liking her and then straight up abandoned them or used them depending on her whims or whatever she felt was convenient.
I'm not exactly saying I dont see why she did that, but she was honestly way to arrogant for how weak she actually is. She went around claiming to be friends with the goddess but then expects to have a peaceful life? That's contradictory. You cant have fame, power, and also expect piece on top of those. If what she really wanted was a peaceful life, she would have done something like opening a shop that makes medicine after working a normal job. Not going out of her way to manipulate and fool people, as well as steal for her own benefit.
Literally the very first person she met was manipulated by her. Also, 22 is literally still young. My older sister is 22 and just barely started her life. The MC is very much still immature. In her previous life she only graduated high school 4 years ago, which, sure that's enough time to go to college and get a job. But Its not enough time to get life experience. If the author truly wanted her to be a wise person, they would have made MC at least 27.
When I watched the anime, I was hella fucking confused. Why the actual fuck did they ruin the plot by deviating from what actually happened in the manga. Are they skipping shit and going off of the novel? I was so confused after seeing her classmates in the anime that I dropped it because it was ruined for me.

I havent fully read the novel but i do know some spoilers. Because of that, what I say here may not be fully accurate.
From what i know there's like a pre timeskip (when shiro first became a spider) and post timeskip. Her other classmates only show up post timeskip, and it's important to note that there's a time gap from when shiro reincarnated and when the other classmates reincarnated (like the vampire girl. Shiro was already an experienced person in this world while her other classmates had just started being born)
I've read some parts of the novel and i think the manga follows it pretty closely (until where I read at least). So no, they're not going by the novel. I think they did this to compress the plot because this does have a bit of a lengthy story, but I think it just confused anime watchers and manga readers alike. Plus, the appeal of the early parts of this story was watching shiro get stronger as time went on, while also wondering if there was more to this world than what we see through shiro.

Also it's because Shiro was reincarnated as a spider while most of the other classmates were reincarnated as babies. So considering the growth rate, we get the already grown up version of the classmates cause their baby experience would have been boring (they're all boring to me Imo. Shiro's is more fun)

She's not even trying to get her powers back?? Its been two years and she's just freeloading, doing absolutely nothing. Also her personality completely disappeared. Shes so dull and boring now. She barely talks either so all the dialogue is between other characters and she just responds in her head where they cant hear her. The hell is the point of becoming a god? She basically just became a regular human. What happened to the plot. I thought her arachne look would stay but they just made her a regular weak ass human and now she's completely useless. It's just getting more and more confusing. She did all that damn work and almost died(DID die) multiple times and then that D bitch takes everything away.
I dont she even has a way to get her powers back atm. By becoming a god, she literally transcended the system that gave her powers so she couldnt depend on it anymore. What is she supposed to do, undo being a god??
Idk man. It's a bit frustrating, but I I'm patiently waiting until she gets used to her current state where she doesnt have to rely on the system anymore. The anime showed us a glimpse of how powerful she would become once she doesnt have rely on the system, and I'm so pumped for that! I think 2 years of being powerless is the price she has to pay, considering how incredibly strong she is. Idk I'm willing to wait, but it's hard cuz the updates are so slow.
