Manny is physically tough, he's young, and when he puts his mind to something, he's gonna get it done. I think he will eventually be running/jumping. He'll overcome. If nothing else, wanting revenge will be motivation to get his body going. Now, whether this artist/author will have him being super-prosthetic (that takes sometimes) is one thing. But as a character, I do think he's gonna overcome really well. Manny has to live FOR his family--they're gone, so he has to take charge and not just get justice for them, but run that company he expected to inherit or even start his own. (Imagine what he could do as a spokesman for the disabled and make the best prosthetics in the world!!!) I want Jin and Manny to be friends forever, cooperate, and help each other. That might be superoptimistic, but it would be a happy ending. Get rid of psycho dad and become men themselves who refuse to hurt others after knowing what it's like to be hurt and abused. They are BOTH now physically disabled and emotionaly wounded and psychologically traumatized. They are int he sAME boat. They need to row together.

He might be running and jumping in the future but not now he needs to get used to things as they are and slowly get better step by step and eventually he will be running. But i think it will be hard for him and i feel sad for him

And about manny you think hes had an easy life he has been bullied his whole childhood and wanted to get strong so he wouldnt get bullied. Everyone has had a hardship in their life some worser then other but thats what turns them into who they are. But it pissed me off what he did to jin but they become friends again later.
Then he became the brutal bully. So what was the point of getting strong if it wasn't to STOP bullies. No, he had it easy in his family (nice family), but hard at school. Instead of becoming the hero, using his status, money, and strength to make the school BETTER, he became the monster at school. But now maybe he'll understand how to be a better person, having suffered, losing his family, and realizing that the kid wasn't lying when he said there's a demon out there he needs to defeat. Now, maybe he'll help him get rid of his psycho dad.
But let's not make excuses for Manny. Manny was causing kids to want to kill themselves being a bully. He was a villain. But he can change now.

I really think some people don't understand the sense of helplessness, of being trapped, and of chronic debilitating stress that bullying produces. I'll never make fun of a bullying victim. Not everyone can take the same degree of aggression. I used to carry a knife to protect myself and if I'd had a gun, I would have carried one. But I think I would have been one of the suicides if I'd had to put up with what these kids do on a daily basis--ridicule, treated like slaves, demeaned, beaten. I would have slit my wrists. As long as there are kids killing themselves or being killed by verbal or physical bullies, I'm gonna side with the victims and their pain. I don't side with abusers or Nazis or ISIS. I side with the victims.

Changed how? He was still bullying in chapter 39 and made the two kids fight. Called Jin a freak and said he never was his friend. And if he's so strong, he should have been able to tell the other kids he can be friends with whomever he wants and whoever doesn't like it, take it up with him.
