He really is an asshole. He decieved her the whole time about wanting kids and kept making her wait, willfull about things (like the apartment), eventually also not responding to her needs (sexually and emotionally), cheated on her and was neglectful to the point that she had to cheat.
WANTING TO HAVE KIDS IS A REALLY IMPORTANT SUBJECT. You cant force someone who doesnt like kids to have one and vice-versa. He shouldve been honest with her before marraige. He was withholding a ‘red’ flag because he didnt want to leave.
Now she really doesnt have any reason to stay.
I like how the author made hayakashi (kan-chan) humane?? He was self-aware and was willing to let go.
In the sequel, the author made him very human. It was obvious he despised himself because of the past. He remained single for 5 years (i think) and was pushing away his bf (when his bf was courting him) because he knows what he’s capable of doing when stressed.
The sequel was kinda like his redemption arc. Hayakashi acknowledged his actions were wrong and he didnt want anybody to save him and instead wanted to always remember his past.
I REALLY LIKE OUR MC (づ￣ ³￣)づ she just really... goes for it ig??? Doesnt even overthink things and takes initiative . She’s really refreshing
I think the same!! Except I think she does overthink things but, like, in a realistic way? She doesn't spiral into some crazy miscommunication hole like most other shoujo mac. She overthinks, but doesnt act on those thoughts and instead acts on what she knows the truth is.
