ngl this storyās strongest arc was the beginningā karmeut battling for the crown. the comedy was hella up there, action was aight, romance was also good. we see the ML a lot and the FLās struggles as a crow.
which is why the subsequent arcs were so,, boring??
idk but it kinda became stale when she started acting like a human by participating directly with all the politics (and i get it). it just felt like a typical transmigration story that 372927 stories have.
i remember when this was new and i loved the first 20-30 chapters (not sure but the firsr arc basically).
when karmeut became the heir that was when my interest waned. i re-read it and honestly, no memorable thing happened to the rest of the series after that.
villains were meh. allies were meh. romance of the 2nd couple was meh. they say the FL was OP but i personally dont feel it. their kid being a hybrid was kinda cliche. so yeah, if i were to reread again, probably only thr first arc

rereading the early the chapters and it is sooo weird seeing michael and lili together because of the recent chapter. icb michael sees lili like a woman when he literally saw her grow up ever since she was 8 years old. like thatās insane

Im giving him shit too bc wdym u brought me cake and did whatever i asked when i was younger like i was your younger sister but now you see me the way you saw my older sister it doesn't help that his nephew is the same age as lili and that he's willing to be a love rival atp?? Like micheal PLEASE move on you're turning into a predator

?? why is the story focused on ryou and the senpai,,?? like yoshino, THE MC OF THE 1ST VOLUME, doesnt appear half as much the senpai
typically the misunderstanding arc is supposed to focus on the EITHER of the couple with EACH OTHERā not ONE person being involved with ANOTHER. this is such weird writing ⦠itās set-up like a cheating arc with the cheaterās POV. and what was up with the line āIf I were single Iād choose youā??
this is so weirdly written

songrik you have my whole heart ā¹ā¹ i love the fact that he healed because he expanded his world beyond jinhyeong like lets be fr,, two troubled codependent teenagers aint gonna do some healing especially when both come from abusive backgrounds.
itās nice to see how he became independent from jinhyeong and became a part of a ācommunityā that he truly neededā a functional healthy family. he turned out to be such a well-adjusted adult because of it. it truly takes a village to raise a child
i am so glad they took him in. songrik was able to forgive jinhyeong and his og mother because he worked on himself. my heart genuinely ached when they had a falling out. i wish he would appear in the upcoming chapters.
Id crash out if i were gisela ngl jei really led her own (i love jei and mc dont get me wrong. Theyre flawed characters and i like it)
