Well, the main female character and the guy (don't remember names, but the guy that she cheated on her ex-boyfriend with) are both technically rapist. They both technically raped her ex-bf (he almost did, but kinda did, and she 100% did, like, the guy was shaking... He might not be the best person ever but I don't think that he deserves to be raped. No one does...), and the guy told her that they can do whatever they want (which is kinda too much considering that the brown haired guy didn't technically approve to it), so I don't think they even care about safe words which is.. Yeah...
I love Areum and do agree that she is a jerk to him sometimes but we have to remember that he is super immature. He is like the only one around who also likes femdom stuff so she doesn't want to lose him but she wants to make sure he's mature enough for a relationship first before they make it official. She knows that relationships are serious and she doesn't know if Areum can be respectful and serious yet.
