This is a manwha that made sense. the MC is not that just great because he was the MC and he got reincarnated and he got killer skills from his past life. his character is gold! he's using his skills and prowess sensibly well, not just because it was tailored to be or because he's the MC. every Dire situation coming his way there's 50% chance he could lose. his strengths aren't that strong because there are people who can outsmart him too in every situation but because he understands himself he was able to make use of his weakness and strengths to make a 100% win.

He's a poor guy. he's indeed hateful at the beginning but that's because people don't know the reason behind his actions. This story is about broken people on a journey to heal themselves. In fact, this is not only a second chance meant for FL and her family the emperor and Rosedemon was also included but that bish is dumb so you'll really rejoice when she falls. And it's really infuriating because in both of their lifetimes Rosedemon used his traumas to keep him under her thumb and there was also a time where she tried to relive those traumas to regain control over him but that took a turn for the worst. lol. and she still expected him to love her after that. waaah crazy. His traumas are crazy too, and Rosedemon and Lucio's relationship was centered on reliance because Rosedemon also had nasty experiences, she was raped by her stepbro and her family knows but did nothing.
so Lucio pitied her for that reason because he thought they shared the same thing and that he was not alone or the only one suffering then she became his lover but compared to what he went through, it doesn't hold a candle nor her experiences justify her actions. They didn't actually love each other. they only believed they were. His first and true love was Empress Rizi. Lucio is a weak man, he lacks resolve as nobody does, but wouldn't you be the same if, from the very day you were born, your mind was constantly being broken until one day it totally shattered? Don't compare him to shuvieshit.... that guy is still the worst no matter what.
Other than Rosedemon, everybody got a happy ending and it's really wholesome. The Royal couple, if I may say, have a mature relationship and it's worth their struggle. This is a great story because somewhere out there in the vast world, there are people like them who struggled the same way (minus reincarnation duh) but learned how to heal and overcome the hurdles.
True.. after knowing the truth about him. I feel guilty and sorry for him that I couldn't longer hate him anymore. The only thing I can think of is to force him to turn his head away from the trash instead face him directly to Patricia and tell him that's the women that will give you salvation from all of your misery or anguish.
I felt the same, I really wanted to jump into their world and murder Rosedemon so that Lucio will only see Rizi from then on.
If you look at his circumstances, it's really heartwrenching, and If he's a real person I would have given him a hug but Rizi's already there to do that. Also, you can only feel proud of him after learning about his past. Imagine being abused like that since you were just an infant and still hold on to life until he became a full-blown man governing the empire quite well despite his severe mental issues... the man fought hard and deserved to be praised. his bad deeds in their past life may not disappear but he's also just a victim as well. people who are mentally vulnerable are easily manipulated.
