It's because he feels the world is boring (both world is). So he wants to dominate the world. For the above answer: even the possessing being that possessed him was just a tool for him to control the world. He's crafty and strong too. This is according to WN. Idk about LN tho.

so inside yuuki's body are two souls. yuuki's soul and Velda's soul. Velda is a fragment of Veldanava, the True Dragon and creator of all life (also Milim's dad and Veldora's 'brother' which is why Veldora called Milim 'daughter of my brother'). yuuki is a suicidal and destructive genius and has always thought about destroying the boring life he had and when he was summoned, he wanted in this new world, he was just crazy, y'know.

some background on yuuki, his parents died in a car accident because they collided with the car of a sleeping driver. this event caused yuuki to believe that the world is utterly unreasonable and bad; at the time (he was around 4-5 y/o) Veldavana's soul fragment entered yuuki's body and they just kinda, merged.

some background on Velda, in his prime, Veldanava created everything. he was the one who told Guy to become a demon lord and he was the one to 'make' a Hero to defeat the demon lord (Rudra Nam Ul Nasca). Then somehow, he impregnanted Rudra's sister, Lucia and boom, Milim is born. When she was born, Velda transferred all his powers and skills to Milim and took the form of her pet dragon, Gaia. Not sure about the timeline, but Velda and Lucia would die after an attack from a neighboring kingdom. When Gaia was killed by some kingdom, Milim massacred everyone, tried the secret of revival (but failed) and became a demon king (third).

as such, there was a piece of Velda's soul that was just wandering around where he found refuge in yuuki.

ok so, both yuuki and Velda wants the destruction of the world ~ world domination (yuuki wants to take away the injustices that happened to him, Velda wants to destroy the world and revive his wife, Lucia - Milim's mom).

and that's why yuuki is 'evil' (づ￣ ³￣)づ

It's in the later chaps in the WN because you don't know yuki is the villain until very late at chap 116. It's not at walpurgis tho. No.its that y'know he's the villain but he never shows (directly mention) himself until that chap.

Nah, this doesn't really hit hard or anything... the plot is decent at best, but the art is pretty good I guess... overall it's only worth reading if you have nothing else to read
