I came here after watching the movie because while I found it super cute, I felt that the drama came out of nowhere?(in the movie) like it was lighthearted in the first 20 minutes and then all of a sudden shun has a whole identity crisis?? it was better executed in the manga so i'm glad i read it for better understanding.

I kind of like the unpredictable feel of the fights in ths manga esp the upcoming one in the recent chapter. like you literally cant see through the fight and and give a clear prediction of the outcome. You cant even say "well Yuji is gonna survive" cuz it seems like Gege doesnt know what the fuck plot armor is Lmfao. its way more thrilling that way.

theres just something about older yaoi mangas like this that just hit different. like theyre so balanced in every aspect of a relationship, its not just pure carnal desire yk? you can feel the possessiveness, jealousy, dependency, character growth and most of all love through the screen.
