I read this at a very young age and I thought the comments was over reacting I just finished reading it as an adult and I felt so sick like the seme is not a good person and using ocd individuals truma because he having a begging kink is so disgusting like the elevator scene really made me sob so bad wow the dad and student relationship yuck oh idk I won't hate the story but the comments reaction is justified tbh
same, I read this when I was very young and it was on a different manga site where people comment under each chapter and whenever something bad happened, they were pointing it out, which really made me see things the way they really were. i remember reading it and not realizing that he's not actually helping him, he's taking advantage of him and his issues, so I'm glad I took the comments seriously cuz it didn't only form my conception of consent and why is it so important but now I can reread it and see myself how much of a shitty manga this is.

It is not the here and now where people get that there is homosexuality, where the the internet provides a lot of info. People were going through their lives as it was dictated by their families (arranged work, arranged marriages) and suddenly realizing that something is wrong. We must not be quick to judge someone in a very different and distorted reality than the one we know
I am also queer and live in a violently homophobic country so I understand what it mean to hide who u are to be accepted but cheating is never excusable leaving ur wife/husband and starting a new life is understandable but cheating just because u are queer is unforgivable cheating destroy ppl lives and mental state
Yes but in this story we get only the info "he destroyed my family". So we do not get any details if there was any cheating. Dad realizing he is gay and fell in love with a man while he was married yes, but for all we know he might ask for a divorce immediately when this happened. But kids don't mind if there was cheating or not, they believe the other man was the reason their family was split, period. They wouldn't understand the concept of homosexuality, social taboo and things. They just see that another being make their dad leave their mom.

Wrong. MC doesn't lose memory at all. And ML also will suffer to later. There's a reason the author name the title as non zero sum and an arc as Tit for Tat (tooth for tooth) in the novel. MC will still end up with trauma, but ML will brings him to therapy later.

I don't comment about the endgame ML. I just comment about the plot. But if we talk about general bl authors, compared to Japanese authors, I think Korean bl authors are far more realistic than Japanese bl authors though in their story.
