am i the only one who thinks sharpe's right to say he's got no reason to feel guilty for the test rabbit failed? like,, rabbit's circumstances were difficult! but he also didn't show up to class and was failing multiple classes, this shit didn't come out of the blue,, like rabbit what do you want him to say?? it's not up to ur math teacher to fix ur life by giving u an a for a test u flunked cause you offered to blow him hhrghhr

I agree to a certain extent obviously rabbit's problems have nothing to do with sharpe and u cant just ask to suck off ur teacher in hopes of them passing u lol but I feel like if u see ur student struggling you should at least make sure they're alright and make sure everything is good at home bc if they're being abused or just having family issues u should be there for them cause that's ur student y'know they don't have anyone else to talk to

yeah i guess sharpe could've stepped up to ask him if he was okay, it'd be responsible, but there are usually other people present at/connected to high schools whose specific job it is to handle these kind of situations, if a kid steps up to them (like counselors). and from the comic alone, rabbit only blames him for that one grade that made him fail high school, not for not noticing anything was wrong. sharpe's more apathetic than he maybe could've been, but on the other hand idk if rabbit would have told him anything if he'd genuinely asked ://
