The whole point of Jinmu's character arc is to be more emphatetic towards humans. Even if they're annoying him, he won't do anything bad as long as they don't cross the line. As for Tang Suryong, she ain't no love interest. She's just a feral oppossum. Jinmu knows she's not a bad person, hence he tolerates her. (Probably was already planning how to get rid of her for the nth time before they got attacked.
