I was actually escalating that one too

They mentioned he lost all hae-soos money then after she decided to forgive him and started working harder to pay his debt he started slowly feeling more resentful to her. I think sometimes when people are ashamed they slowly convince themselves what they did isn't that bad. I also think her working hard annoys him, him not being breadwinner annoys him, her being frugal and 'acting poor' annoys him.

He can't take accountability for what he did and refuses to make the connection that her being exhausted, working hard and 'acting poor' is because of him. Not to mention the fact he used to get drunk and beat her. Then he has the nerve to ask for allowance or to sleep with him while resenting her at the same time. The fact that her dad used to be the same of guy is heartbreaking
