In the novel there was like more than 40 chapters in the chasing arc of Adante but the creator of this manhwa decided to cut all of it out and suddenly skip to the end with only a bit of context clues to try and make it understandable. so if it does feel rushed, it is!^^
I don't know why the author decided to do this but this is The Promised Neverland all over again. They could've given us a synopsis and it wouldn't make a difference
