that’s not how it works at all lol a lot of groups don’t get along/are just coworkers. for example, super junior used to absolutely hate each other. they got into fights all the time and barely talked. you can also usually tell when groups aren’t friends. like, it’s pretty obvious that blackpink and ive are just coworkers and aren’t friends. although other groups like gidle and twice are pretty obviously friends and have a super close bond.

Sorrythats just my personal opinion, but here are my main reasons for thinking they’re not that close.
First, they haven’t made music together in years. to me, usually when a group is close they bond over music and try super hard to stay together and release new music. that’s just what i’ve seen with gidle, shinee, p1harmony, got7 and other groups. it definitely isn’t a requirement, and some close knit groups don’t release a lot of music, but it’s a trend i’ve seen. Also, they never post about each other, like ever. It’s been about a year since I’ve seen them tag or mention each other. On top of that, they haven’t been seen together or hanging out in a really long time. Usually, journalists or fans will capture moments when idols are spotted together, but that hasn’t happened in a while. they go to concerts and back but don’t even usually eat together afterwards or go out to eat/hangout at all. they also don’t mention each other.
Lastly, and this is subjective, is just their general chemistry. This part is totally subjective, but they’ve never seemed super close to me. When you compare how they act with their actual friends versus how they act with their members, there’s a noticeable difference. For example, Rosé seems much more comfortable, relaxed, and happy around Hyeri than she does with her members. The same goes for Jennie and Irene or Jisoo and Seulgi. there’s a visible difference and chemistry that i don’t see with each other.
Of course, the members of blackpink definitely have a bond, I’m not saying they don’t, but I don’t think they’re super close friends. I do think Rosé and Lisa are closer than the others, but overall, they seem more like coworkers than best friends!!! everyone can have a different opinion and view of things though!

it's okay! I totally respect ur opinion, it's just that I see them hype each other on their stories whenever they get the chance and stuff like that. Never thought of it on a deeper level, but honestly hearing your reasonings makes sense, I wished they were closer tho

i wouldn’t know anything for sure, though!!! so don’t take it at face value. i’m definitely not an expert and can’t see their relationship behind doors!! and just because a group aren’t best friends doesn’t mean they don’t have a bond. and even if they were best friends, all friendships look different. just because we don’t see them tagging each other or hanging out outside doesn’t mean they’re not close. different friends have different boundaries and ways they interact! some friendships are so close that they don’t rely on constant interaction to thrive. even with time apart, they can pick up right where they left off, as if no time has passed. those types of friendships can be just as close-knit as friends that are constantly with each other. that’s just my stupid rant on friendship. there are tiny hints you can try to piece together, but at the end of the day we don’t know these people or their personal lives!! that’s the fun part!
