No one at the time knew they could be humans, and he was actually willing to sacrifice himself to fight against titans that they were powerless against.
Gabi’s ignorance is the same as Eren, but the world they live in has a lot more knowledge, and the Marleys Gabi is serving are not exactly powerless against titans or other countries. Also, there are people around her who figured out that the Marley’s ideology is wrong (their ideology is just useful to make Eldians sacrifice their life and power for their purpose) and that Paradis people are not monsters.
It makes us agitated to see many people trying to protect her and her feelings, letting her believe what she wants to believe and hiding the truth from her (meanwhile making Falco sacrifice his life, but Gabi’s not even grateful).
Gabi might be brave in her own way, but we all know her ignorance and misconceptions and she’s got the enemies wrong. I found it very unnatural to see her so proud of killing enemy soldiers when she first appeared.
Eren, on the other hand, might have been ignorant, but fighting the titans at the time was inevitable for the survival of people inside the walls. Even after knowing their true enemies, I don’t think Eren did wrong in trying to protect everyone from the titans.
I don’t hate Gabi, but her ignorance irritates me.

It’s not really preaching, it’s just my being emotional and not liking her very much for some unreasonable things she can’t help. Still, I can’t think Gabi and Eren’s the same... Like how she was angry at Falco for trying to take her place and be the shifter titan. Her anger seemed like she wanted to be the hero and didn’t feel genuine. When Eren declared that she would kill all the titans, he was not seeking glory but was more self sacrificing.
Not that I want her dead though, don’t mistake me.
I don’t see anything wrong with saying they are different and I prefer Eren.
No, she's not the same. Eren did not know about Marley. All he saw was monsters eating his mom& neighbors. Gaby knows about Titans, knows they sent them to hurt the Eldians on the island, and they wanted to destroy all the Eldians on the island and that plan has been in motion for years. So, Gaby knew they attacked the island FIRST and that this was a counterattack. She refuses to listen when she's told "we hurt them first."
Gaby is not the same as Eren in situation/knowledge. She is the same in determination and anger. But she wants to be a Titan to kill Eldians. She's a killer from the get-go.
