If you look closely, it's mentioned on multiple occasions that people don't see them as real brothers. Even in Leo's group chat it's emphasized that they aren't actually related, but ig we'll see. I don't think Joowon's company will let him date publicly anyway, so the biggest problem right now is how their parents will react.
I think Haesoo's mother is starting to have a change of heart. And even though people don't see them as brothers now, if they start to know abt the relationship, i know they will brought up the fact that Jowoon and Haesoo are stepbrothers.
